One half of all Kids Receive Food Stamp Benefits
An analysis of thirty years of food stamp information, more or less 49% of all kids had been on food stamps by the age of twenty. This aligns with our food outreach program. We want to feed all those who are in need. Hunger isn’t simply a homeless problem, it’s a community problem which leads to malnutrition in kids.
Research shows that children with access to healthy food perform much better in school. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP Food Stamps) is among the biggest safety nets for families in poverty. As each family is allowed by the benefit to pick food that’s ideal for their children’s nutrition, it is also ensuring healthier kids.
